We provide customized educational seminars that are designed to empower local decision-makers with knowledge of their options for planning, designing, building and operating schools that support (rather than undermine) the principles of Smart Growth. Key elements of these seminars typically include:

1. A Full Day or Half Day Public Workshop
While the Workshops are customized to meet your specific needs, they usually contain three critical sessions:

A. "What are Smart Growth Schools and Why You Need Them"

B. "Hurdles to Building Smart Growth Schools in Your Community"

C. "How to Get There from Here: Mapping Out a Strategy for Your Community"

2. Private Meetings with Key Decision-Makers
Not all decision-makers will be able to actively participate in a public workshop so we regularly schedule private meetings at which time we can address their concerns.

3. Assessment
The team that we put together for you provides the "fresh eyes" and expertise that permits us to assess your current efforts as well as make suggestions on where you need to go from here.
